Developed by CERN for its own needs, Indico has now become a core application for all the organization. Thanks to this system, CERN managed 15 700 events in 2008 and more than 20 000 in 2009. Released under the GPL license, this tool is now used in several institutions all over the world.

Why should I use Indico for my meetings?

Just think about it : Imagine you attended a meeting at some point in the past, and you want to retrieve the slides, minutes or other documents discussed. Is it feasible? And if so, how easy is it?

With Indico, all participants to a meeting can record all these documents in the system and retrieve them in less than one minute.

Why should I use Indico for my conferences?

Indico helps you in all the steps of your conference, from the creation of the website to the publication of the proceedings. Even before the conference, you can easily prepare a form for the submission of contributions to the event, and another form for the registration, accommodation arrangements  and social events associated to the conference. Indico provides all the tools for setting up the timetable of the event, so that you can manage sessions and contributions by changing dates and durations. Several organizations have already used Indico to set up the timetable of conferences spanning over a whole week and including more than 6 parallel sessions and several hundred contributions. 

What can MCM-Services do for me?

MCM-Services manager was the head developer for Indico at CERN during several years. Thanks to our knowledge of the system, we can provide you assistance in the software installation, maintenance and training.
